Yuguda’s govt spent N6m to buy six laptops – Bauchi govt

A committee set up by the Bauchi State Government to recover property illegally carted away by officials of the last administration has recovered property worth N5.7 billion.


The committee also uncovered how the immediate past administration of Malam Isa Yuguda spent N6 million to buy six laptops, $5,000 each.

FG Files Fresh Money Laundering Charges against Dasuki, Asks for Secret Trial

The federal government yesterday asked a Federal High Court in Abuja to conceal the identities of witnesses in the trial of former National Security Adviser (NSA), Sambo Dasuki over alleged illegal possession of firearms.
Dasuki was in September arraigned on a one-count charge of illegal possession of firearms without licence by the federal government contrary to the provisions of Section 27(1) (a) (i) of the Firearms Act, CAP F28 LFN, 2004.

Appeal Court Adjourns Saraki's Suit Against CCT, FG Indefinitely

The much anticipated ruling on the appeal case filed by the Senate President, Dr Olubukola Abubakar Saraki against the Federal Government  and Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), which was slated for Monday by the Court of Appeal in Abuja, has been postponed indefinitely.


The appellate court failed to fix a date for the judgment with the Registrar, Mrs. Christie Aruna‎,  explaining that the court has resolved to communicate a new date to parties in the suit.
